Background
The Advanced Institute for Integrated Research on Livestock and Animal Sciences (AIIRLIVAS), established by the Government of Tamil Nadu, is a pioneering hub for livestock research, education, and innovation.
Spread across 1102.25 acres at Thalaivasal, Salem District, it is Asia's largest integrated livestock research facility. Inaugurated on 13.01.2025 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, the institute underscores the state's commitment to sustainable rural development, animal welfare and allied sectors.
