Library Committee
The Library Committee of AIIRLIVAS is constituted to support and strengthen the academic, research, and learning needs of students and faculty. The committee plays a vital role in the effective planning, development, and utilization of library resources, ensuring that the library functions as a dynamic knowledge hub aligned with the institution’s academic objectives.
Recognizing the library as the backbone of teaching and learning, the Library Committee works continuously to enhance access to quality information resources, promote reading habits, and integrate modern information and communication technologies in library services.
Objectives
The key objectives of the Library Committee are:
- To develop and maintain a well-organized, up-to-date library that meets curriculum and research requirements.
- To ensure the availability of adequate textbooks, reference books, journals, e-resources, and digital databases.
- To promote effective use of library resources among students and faculty.

Functions and Responsibilities
The Library Committee undertakes the following responsibilities:
- Assessing the academic needs of departments and recommending the procurement of books, journals, and e-resources.
- Planning and monitoring the library budget and ensuring optimal utilization of funds.
- Reviewing and updating library rules, regulations, and user services.
